Art Deco Festival

The Art Deco Festival hosted by the Art Deco Society of Los Angeles will be held next weekend on the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA.

 

The festival is an opportunity to experience Art Deco through the Queen Mary’s architecture, design, and art.  The Art Deco Society and guests embrace the Art Deco movement by wearing period clothing, accessories, and participating in the social events.

The festival includes guided tours of the Queen Mary, informative lectures, an Art Deco bazaar, and a vintage car display.  The highlight of the festival with be the Grand Art Deco Ball on Saturday night in the Grand Saloon with tunes provided by Dean Mora and his Orchestra.

This is sure to be an exciting weekend of Deco fun. So, say good-bye to the 21^st century (well, maybe just for the weekend) and step into the Art Deco Festival time warp where you will be encompassed by all that is Art Deco.
