These simple instructions will have you up and blogging in no time! Click on the image to view a larger version.

Go to www.typepad.com and click on the Sign In in the top right corner of the page.

Enter your username and password ( as supplied via shoppersmap), then click the LOG IN button to enter.

Click on the Compose tab.

Type in your article and be sure to give it a title. You can use the buttons above to add links, photos or change the look and feel with underlines, bold, italics, etc.

Lastly, you can Preview and Save your work when you are finished.  One hint: always Save your work and then there's no chance you may accidentally erase you blog entry.  After saving view your newly updated blog!

HOW TO ADD A PICTURE TO A POST

It's a simple as adding an attachment or photo to an email!

Click the Insert Image as shown.

Step One Choose an Image click the browse button and highlight the jpg or gif image you wish to add to the post-the place your cursor is in the post determines where the image will be placed.

Step Two Set Image Options allows you to either choose the default size or Use Custom Settings.  We recommend using the custom settings for greatest flexibility as the default size  is usually to small.  Experiment with changing the pixel amounts or percentage of the photo size to alter the size of the picture.  If it's not what you choose simply re-edit the post with more accurate settings. You can also control where the picture goes with the wrap options-again experimentation is best and it's no problem to re-edit posts until they look the way you want them presented!
